Hi Guys,
What a day we had today!!!!!!! I rarely witnessed such landslide in mid and small cap where sensex and Nifty are still not crashing to gr8 level. It was totally unexpected.

The worst hit has been our last two calls: Alps Ind and Elec steel.

I am in pretty upset today, I really feel sorry if someone makes loss on my call.

Electrosteel Castings was more of a momentum call, which is murdered with surgical precision. The momentum is gone as of now, unless the midcap and small cap index does not make a turn around early next week.

Alps Lab I don't expect this one to be spared either where everything is being sold off. But this is a stronger stock compared to previous one. so not much worry here.

Let me answer some of the queries asked in the comment section of the previous post:

The reason of midcap crash linked to Rel Power IPO? To free cash by investor to put in IPO? Well I guess thats the only reason every Fund Managers I know are telling. But God only knows what is happening.

regarding Electrosteel:

Let me ask you first what the procedure you feel we are following for all the calls? Ofcourse we have proper criteria to filter a stock which takes care of Fundamentals, Technicals, Momentum Game, Greater fool theory, Support Resistance Break out-- almost everything possible, but unnecessarily all the filter got to be passed. I feel our procedure is doing good--at least the result in All Past Calls and Most Rocking Calls suggest same. So I don't feel like dumping our winning formula.

But I would like to know where from you got that result of Elecsteel (profit and loss). Would you please cross check the same in BSEINDIA's result site and get back to me?

The case of Electrosteel was more of a momentum call. I am quite sure that it will reach the target in ST. When market shows a thumbs down to Midcaps and Small caps without any discrimination , it is really tough for our stock with high P/E to hold on. The only worry for me is that recent downslide may push the stock beyond stoploss on Friday (and so closing the call with a 'failed' rating in the call history book) and later bouncing back and actually reaching target. Let us see.



@ Shrirang: As far as your query on Compact Disk is concerned, I shall say that I expected a LC today when I saw the murderous scene at 3-00 pm. You may place a sell call at level of 114 early tomorrow if you are panicked. I am holding.

@ Hari: yes you can exit Nucleus if you can not wait for ST term (3 months).
