Hi,
Market lost the day gains, but our picks have move nicely, except few. Nice Move by ElectroSteel, ALPS showing strength as well.


Announcing Nuclear Soft as failed call(Breached the stoploss few days back, I did not notice that).

Nuclear Soft is really worrying me, I have holding in that. Let me wait for few more days before I exit.However you may exit, if yours stand is ST.

Answer to Query asked in comment of previous post:

Swan Mill is a Hold. You may extend your stand. A land sell is on the card in Kurla (Mumbai) by the Org as per unconfirmed news.


Bhushan Steel is a Hold. ST target revised to 1740.

Someone holding Kic Metaliks , I don't know why, when I already gave a profit booking call long ago after reaching ST target.

Megmani Org you should have booked profit in vicinity of 54 (which would be top, as I posted earlier--search the thread to find my post). Exit at 48 this time.

As the downslide continues, I know that the level of panic is increasing all around.

The silver lining of the day was the smart recovery of the market from 700+ pt downside and closing at a less frightening 19868.11

Now where we see the market from here?

Honestly todays downslide was mainly because of Panic selling, as no substantial negative cue came from domestic front. And as fer as the economical view from international front is concerned, that had not been supportive since last few months at all--so wt the big fuss now?

So, the bottomline is : no need to panic, stay calm, if required extend your holding time.


Now let me take some of the queries asked in the comment section of previous post.

Electrosteel made a smart recovery, it would been a sell call from me if it might have closed below our stoploss level of 80. So stay invested. dont sell now. you will get your buy level soon.

Alps Ind is a far more stronger share, safe to extend stand to MT/LT if you can.

SAIL is a not a share to sell if it take some beating. Its a golden scrip, stay invested.

ADANI is a big thing..hold till Dec 2008 with a stoploss of 850. Sky is the limit of profit.


Now the problem is with ST investors. ST investor are those who like to ride the boat during uptrend and get off quickly with handsome gain. So ST investors (3 months) may not like the way the scrip ALPS and ELECTROSTEEL have performed.

The actual problem is not with these scrips, but with the timing (you can not get it right all the time, unfortunately) . The day we picked those scrip, small cap and mid caps started mass downsliding. When a bit of recovery was seen, Large caps tumbled.

So nothing to blame to these two scrip specially. So you may quit( if you are a ST investor )when those scrips get a little more upside so that selling price comes near your buying price and minimise the loss.

Hi there,
I am really sorry that I have not been able to post since last couple of days. As the disaster continues in stock market, lets start with some positive news to uplift the mood.

Our old calls on Welspun Guj has reached its ST target today. Holder may extend there position till Jan08 end or book profit.


Texmaco also reached its revised ST target.

Now common question is : what should be done in present circumstance. Is the heavy profit booking today alarming? Well....I don't think so.


As far proper time to Book profit is concerned--it should start only after 20th Jan08 to Feb 1st week end. I expect a big crash in this phase. So ST traders must be very careful and think twice about keeping their position open if they can not extend their stands.


As far as my stand is concerned, I already sold of my holding of Texmaco today. I will gradually close all my position by this month end.
